Towns End Cottage   

From points south, take I-95 North 47 miles (starting at the Maine/ New Hampshire border) to I-295 N/S Portland exit. 

Follow I-295 North 28 miles to exit 28 Bath/ Brunswick.  The main drag will take you through a couple of stop lights until you come to a major intersection with a sign telling you to bear LEFT onto RT 1 North.

Follow RT 1 North 20 miles to RT 27. 

Exit right onto RT 27 and follow approximately 11 miles into Boothbay Harbor.  Pass the Hannaford's market on your right and continue through the stop light. 

Bear RIGHT at the bank onto Oak Street.  When Oak Street takes a hard turn to the left, turn right on West Street. 

Continue to the end of West street, and turn RIGHT back onto RT 27. 

Follow RT 27 to the little yellow cottage on the RIGHT immediately before the Southport Bridge.  If you cross a large, green, unmistakeable trestle bridge over Townsend Gut, you went just a little bit too far!
